Creating employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The idea of creating an Aboriginal owned company that would provide recruitment and labour hire services was conceived by Priscilla and Todd Mason with business partner Greg Barnes. In 2017, while working in the construction industry, it was apparent that access and opportunities to improve and increase Indigenous participation were non existent.

We believe that having meaningful employment is an important part to individual and community growth and prosperity, that can also build self respect and improve mental health.

We’re a good team that all treat each other as family and with respect. By providing a stable, respectful and personally rewarding work environment we empower our team to act with honesty, confidence, commitment and reliability. Ensuring integrity in all we do.

We work across regional and metropolitan locations with a focus on local jobs for local people. Maintaining partnerships with the communities within which we work.

We are passionate about our heritage and through our business we empower all Indigenous, and disadvantaged communities to make a difference, learn, and encourage their families to connect with meaningful employment. This creates excellence not just for individuals but also communities, our team and our partners.

Our History

Our History

Our mission is to make a difference and improve meaningful employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and disadvantaged people and to build vibrant, economically stable independent communities.

The idea of Indigeco was to provide partners with a genuine Aboriginal business that could supply much needed services, offering value for money whilst creating accessible employment opportunities for Indigenous and disadvantaged people.

We are a Supply Nation Certified Aboriginal business and are passionate about our heritage and promoting employment opportunities for our people and communities. It is equally important to note that Indigeco is majority Aboriginal owned.

We are proud to make a difference not just in our work, supplementary businesses and also as an agent for change, and we actively sponsor several community based Indigenous rugby league clubs, including Karuah Roo Rugby Club, the Dubbo Wiradjuri Goannas Club and sponsoring the Elders Olympics.
